Fashion Friday: How to Dress While Pregnant

Now that I am very visably pregnant, I am majorly struggling with what to wear.
This week, the fashion gods must be smiling down at me…just when I began to feel completely hopeless in my search for stylish maternity clothing inspiration, I opened the April issue of Vogue to find this: Five Days, Five Looks, One Girl: Sylvana Ward Durrett. Sylvana is Vogue’s Director of Special Events who is busy planning the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala while nine months pregnant.
I fell in love with the first image I saw… I absolutely adore this white chiffon Alexander Wang dress. Sylvana purchased it a couple sizes up and uses a belt to cinch it above her belly. As with most of her perfectly styled outfits, she is sporting a long, oversized blazer to top it off.
I love her accessories… this striped Dries Van Notren clutch is gorgeous and I love her Giusseppe Zanotti sandals.
This will be my Spring-time maternity staple. I am officially on a mission for the perfect pair of white maternity jeans that I can pair with a simple tee shirt and (long) navy blazer.
Pregnant or not, this striped dress by Minnie Mortimer is already a wardrobe staple of mine! I love the way Sylvana paired it with this bright blue oversized Maje blazer.
This look is so simple and effortless, yet looks totally put together. A long yellow blazer by Preen over a zara cardigan and flared jeans.
This one is easily attainable… Sylvana is wearing an extra large All Saints skirt which is sitting low on her hips with a black maternity shirt by velvet and a military jacket from Urban Outfitters.
