Family Style Beach House

I came across this post last week on Cococozy (which is one of my favorite blogs!) and I just thought it was way too beautiful not to share with all of my lovely readers.  It is a project by interior designers Paige Sumblin Schnell and Bess Marshall of Tracery Interiors.  This pretty little beach house in Blue Mountain Beach, FL is a vacation home for a family of 5 right on the Gulf of Mexico.  What I love about it, is that Paige and Bess were able to bring so many gorgeous elements of the environment into the interior design.  The color palette alone reminds me of the beach!

After browsing the Tracery website, I fell in love with a few other beachy designs of theirs…

Neutral Living: Lake Martin Vacation Home

I’m getting that itch that I get every March, where I just *need* to go on vacation. I am dying for a little R & R, preferably accompanied by warm weather.  I came across this gorgeous little house in Lake Martin, Alabama and it just pushed me over the edge.  It’s decor looks serene, peaceful and relaxing…everything I’m looking for in a vacation!

Home of the week – What’s on the Market?

The details: Sun Valley, Idaho • 5 bedrooms • 6 baths • 2.5 acres •  $5,750,000

Known as “The Monkey Cottage” because of the rough behavior of the owners three young sons, this beautiful vacation home is located in Sun Valley, Idaho on the Big Wood River.   It has a surround sound theater, french doors opening up to a beautiful patio, a wrap around deck and private fishing access.  When I saw this gorgeous home, I wanted to pack my bags and get on the first plane out to Sun Valley.  I would love to wake up everyday in a home like this one.
